Sean has the typical athlete's looks. Standing at six foot two inches tall, he towers over a vast majority of his classmates. He can sometimes find his height to be awkward, but finds his grace on the basketball court. He is tall, dark and handsome, but his overly confident smile can be off putting. He realises that girls go for athletes, and uses it to his advantage. However, they are usually off put by the cross that always stays around his neck.

Sean has a thick nose and pale skin, often splattered with blemishes. He is hardly the type to take care of his appearance. Though he washes his face every day, he is far from the type who would use extra creams and solutions to keep acne at bay. His eye colour is of an emerald green, standing out against his pale skin and dark hair. The broad-shouldered boy has an extremely muscular build, and likes to use this to his advantage too.

Sean's hair is usually kept fairly short. After all, there is nothing worse than sweat drenched hair forming a shield between your vision and the ball in your hands. He doesn't particularly take care of his dark roots though, and only styles it when it gets a little longer. He has taken many challenges in the past, bleaching his hair or shaving it all off, the silly tests of manhood that team mates force on each other to see who will do it. He keeps clean-cut in the shaving department, his very strong jaw on full display.

Sean isn't the type to wear stylish clothing or dress up to impress. Despite being of wealthy background, he prefers to dress in simplistic clothing. Comfortable jeans and jumpers and usually sneakers rather than anything else. He is unlike his father who is never seen out of a suit, Sean would rather wear his basketball uniform around the house. However, being a quite respectable young man, he knows better than to walk around too casually the halls of St. Mary's. Being a private school boy he is used to dressing nicer than he would by choice for the sake of not getting told off by Headmistress Thompson. One would normally witness Sean in his sports shorts and a wife-beater if they were to see him in his natural habitat, the court.

Religious;

Growing up in Chariot on the right side of the lake meant Sean was raised as a good Christian boy, and unlike most males at St. Mary's nowadays, he believes in his religion. Sean was never going to stay away from women, in fact he has always done quite the opposite, but he always believed sex to be a special bond meant only for husband and wife. Unfortunately, his virginity was stolen away by one night he'd rather forget about. Sean was once the good boy who never drank, smoked or had sex, and most of that changed in one night. After meeting a girl who seemed innocent, and letting her lead him to a party, slip alcohol into his drink, and convince him while drunk to lose his virtue to her, Sean's reputation was shattered. Many people now see Sean as a hypocrite who preaches abstinence and then sleeps with fifteen-year-olds. In fact, rumours have made him out to be the bad guy, now escalating towards him seducing thousands of freshmen and sophomores.

Overly Confident;

Being the good little religious boy would make it seem like he would be the shy guy. Though he started off as a fairly shy freshman, he soon became confident, to the point of thingyiness. He often uses the line about practising no sex on women, who stick to it like bees to flowers. However, down the line when they realise they won't get in his pants no matter what, he gets dumped. And now with his recent rumour mill, he has to be more confident, or he would only be ripped apart. His pompous demeanour derives from his background as a wealthy lad. Having one of the most pompous fathers in town, meant some of it had to pass on. Many people think you can't be pompous and date many women and be religious all together, but Sean proves them wrong.

Hot-Tempered;

Being an athlete, Sean should have learnt to control his temper. However, it is just that that often gets him fired up. Being rather overly confident, he takes defeat very badly, and as a sore loser, he can take a sinister side. He can become physical in fits of temper, but always regrets raising fists to his opponents on the basketball court. It isn't only on the court that he gets angry, but often is the one to yell first in an argument. He cannot control his anger easily, and one wouldn't be around him by choice in a fight.

Kind;

When it comes down to it, under his layers of thingyiness and temper, lies his religious side, where he is a good boy. He likes to date many women, but would never cheat, or use her. He only wants the best for people, and goes out of his way to please people. He likes to be happy and surrounded by happiness. Though he can act like a pompous, rich boy he is kind-hearted and considerate. After all, you have to have a heart if you're willing to marry a girl you impregnated because she got you drunk and tricked you into sex and decide to raise her child with her for the rest of your life.

Romantic;

Sean dates lots of women because he wants to live life and find true love. But finding true love won't come without putting yourself out there. He can be the perfect gentleman on dates, and when he is dating someone he really likes he finds he rarely wants to be apart from her. Unfortunately, he can drive girls away with his romance. Only the very religious virgins would put up with his romance and his abstinence from sex, and they are too wrapped up in staying virgins they stay away from men. Sean's type of girl is the one he has to chase, the one who won't give in to him right away.

Sean Owen Burke was born in a large hospital just outside of his hometown Chariot. As a baby, Sean was moved around a lot, as his father's wealthy business, a chain of hotels in Vermont called "Carlisle Suites", took him all over the state. Eventually, Carlisle and wife Marietta decided to settle down and raise his child in their hometown, Chariot. They had both grown up in the wealthier, religious side of town, and wanted their son raised in the same, apparently safe environment. Sean was always placed in private schooling and never touched Chariot's public system.

Sean grew into a respectable young adult who actually cared about his religion, making his parents extremely proud. He excelled in sports, where he may have lacked in academics, becoming St. Mary's star basketball player. He reached Senior status with a clean reputation, and was heading the right way to graduation with a nice sports scholarship. He would then go to a nearby college, find a wife, have children and move back to Chariot. Unfortunately, fate, or rather a lying sophomore got her hands on him.

Sean was convinced by this young lady to go to a party. He was used to going to parties and staying away from the booze. His friends never objected to this, after all they needed a designated driver. However this night, the sophomore, who had her eyes on Sean for a while, poured vodka into his supposedly virgin drink. And she didn't steal the virginity of just his drink either. That night the two slept together, though Sean can barely remember a moment of the night. All he can remember is the morning after. In his temper he cursed at the girl and told her he never wanted to see her again. Unfortunately, she found her way back to him, announcing she was pregnant.

This devastating night has had many blows to the young boy. Now burdened with a girl he despises as the mother of his child, and the girl he will force himself to marry, and a reputation of being a hypocrite, Sean wishes he could go back and take the night away. Sean will have to inform his parents that he will more than likely lose his scholarship chances as the awful story will no doubt travel to the college scouts, but worse, will lose his parent's respect. But what will happen when the absolute truth is unravelled?
